David G. Foster holds the position of Vice President of Engineering. David has been with Patti Engineering since 1995. He has provided more than 13 years of executive and management service to all client relations, project planning, project estimation, as well as managing the employee development and hiring process. David also leads the effort at Patti Engineering in developing a product-based portfolio. In past experiences, David has worked in the electrical utilities industry for a Caribbean-based company on several assignments including 'hands-on' work in transmission and distribution systems, as well as asset management systems development.

David earned his Michigan Professional Engineering license in 2000, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University (GMI) in Flint, Michigan. David also serves as the Product and Engineering manager of LEID (Law Enforcement Intelligent Devices) and has served as the Automation Group leader for the Southeastern Michigan chapter of ISA.

David lives in Clarkston, Michigan with his family and enjoys summer boating on Lake St. Clair and all of the Great Lakes.
